About Us

Craftsman Cabinetry Kitchen and Bath Inc. is located just outside of historic Ste. Genevieve, Missouri and 60 miles south of St. Louis. Don Gassier is the owner/ operator of the company.  Don began his training as a cabinet maker in St. Louis while still attending high school.  After years in the cabinetry field he started a custom cabinet shop producing cabinetry for high-end custom homes throughout  Missouri and Illinois as well as commercial fixtures for stores, schools, churches and hospitals across the country.  

After 15 years as a small custom shop our customers needs changed and we changed our objectives to meet our customers needs. The demand for custom built kitchen and bath cabinets exceeded what we could produce in house. So we went on a mission to find a cabinet that was very close to what we build in-house and we searched and found Bertch Cabinets. Bertch offers excellent cabinets at an excellent value to our customers.  We also invested in the latest design software and completed training to improve our kitchen and bath design skills.  Our customers are extremely pleased with Bertch cabinets and we can dedicate shop time to custom specialty work which is in high demand. We are now a full-service cabinet company offering kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, custom woodworking and all types of counter tops.
